We have a current opportunity for a Sr. Manager of IT Operations located at our facility in Albuquerque, NM. In partnership with CIO Group leadership, you will be responsible for the planning, designing, and implementing of Redwire’s IT Infrastructure both on-site and in the cloud. Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure in order to support business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Be an integral part of the CIO Group Leadership team, leading the IT Operations department to meet the CIO Group Key Performance Indicators and the Strategic IT strategy
- Serves as the Enterprise Systems Engineer and oversees the System Design Lifecycle and develop plans for the IT strategy for IT operations
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the IT infrastructure team, IT Service Team (Help Desk), Digital Solutions Team (Websites, SharePoint, Programming)
- Budget and manage IT resources for the IT Operations Department
- Ensure that all systems are operating smoothly and efficiently and execute assigned projects and tasks to deliver IT services in accordance with established objectives
- Implements Enterprise-Wide policies and procedures and monitors system performance and capacity to ensure that it meets the needs of the business
- Configuration, deployment, and administration of enterprise systems in a hybrid environment including Active Directory and Azure integration
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise application infrastructure and key infrastructure services
- Maintain standards, ensuring conformance with information systems policies and objectives and ensuring systems remain scalable in accordance with IT leadership
Ideal Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field with a minimum of 12-15 years’ of experience, including over six years as a Senior IT management. Willing to consider directly related experience in lieu of degree
- US Citizenship holding an active DoD or DOE clearance
- Experience with Active Directory in a multiple forest / multi trust environment while maintaining security including knowledge of EntraID, Privileged Identity and Access Management and the various applications in the Microsoft Cloud Environment
- Experience planning and managing budgets for IT operations
- Experience with security compliance for Sarbanes-Oxley Act, NIST SP 800-171 and NIST SP 800-53
- Experience with secure remote access (VPN) setup in a zero-trust environment
- Experience in a multi-site hybrid environment using Microsoft and Azure Active Directory and multiple other 3rd party systems
- CompTia Security+(CE), Microsoft Certified Professional, VMware Certified Professional, ITIL v3 Certified Professional certifications
Desired Skills
- Experience managing multiple sites remotely
- Experience in migrating from AzureAD/Entra ID to ADFS in an enterprise system
- Good understanding of core networking fundamentals
- Strong background in IT Engineering Principles and System Design Lifecycle
- CISSP, CASP, GSEC or GIAC certifications
- Cisco, Aruba and Fortinet networking equipment experience and training
- Advanced Security Firewall experience and training
- zScaler Cloud Security and Private Access knowledge and experience integrating a zero-trust environment
