About the position:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager of IT and Hosted Infrastructure Operations to lead our IT operations and hosted infrastructure teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and optimization of our Linux and Windows Server environments, Azure Cloud Services, networking infrastructure, DevOps practices, web and application servers, and databases, and ensuring the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures. Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in optimizing services cost management and aligning IT operations with ITIL ITSM best practices.

What you can offer us:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in IT operations with a focus on hosted infrastructure.
• Proven experience with Linux and Windows Server environments, Azure Cloud Services, virtualization infrastructure, Linux and Windows-based web servers, application servers, and databases.
• Strong background in networking infrastructure and Cyber Security.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL ITSM practices and services cost management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are desirable.

Position Alignment:

1. Infrastructure Leadership:

• Lead and manage the IT and hosted infrastructure teams, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of internal IT infrastructure and Azure Cloud Services, ensuring efficient utilization and alignment with business goals.
• Align IT operations with ITIL ITSM best practices to enhance service delivery and support.
• mplement incident, problem, change, and release management processes to ensure a structured and efficient IT environment.
• Collaborate with the VP of IT, the finance department, and other relevant departments and stakeholders to optimize services cost management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on the quality and reliability of IT services.
• Identify, validate, and drive adoption of new or emerging technologies that can improve IT infrastructure, services cost, performance, reliability, or support the introduction of new business services.

2. DevOps and Automation:

• Drive DevOps practices to enhance efficiency, automation, and collaboration within the IT and hosted infrastructure and development teams.
• Implement and manage resource provisioning and availability associated with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for streamlined software delivery.
• Lead automation efforts to reduce manual IT infrastructure and services operations activities.

3. Server and Database Management:

• Manage web, application, and database server resources, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Implement best practices for servers and database management, optimization, and backup strategies.
• Manage incidents associated with IT and Hosted services and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and communication.
• Monitor usage of assets and manage provisioning or decommissioning of systems, resources, or licenses as applicable.

4. Networking Infrastructure:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's networking infrastructure.
• Ensure the security and reliability of network services, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.

5. Cyber Security:

• Develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's IT assets.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats and proactively address vulnerabilities.
