About this role
Industrial Fire has an opportunity for a Senior Manager Indirect Procurement who can work on a strategic level to ensure that the procurements goals are met. This is an individual contributor role onsite in either Minneapolis MN, Stamford CT or Derry NH.
Some of the duties will include to manage indirect procurement sourcing strategy and drive productivity; establish logistic and warehouse solutions for the Industrial fire business; and to build strong business partnership with Indirect, Logistic and warehouse suppliers to meet business current and future needs.

Key Responsibilities
Indirect Sourcing
- Provide strategic leadership & oversight for indirect procurement activities & savings opportunities
- Operational and spend analysis, development & execution of annual sourcing strategies, vendor negotiations, performance management & operational support.
- Develop longer-term strategies to address vendor issues & business process outsourcing opportunities
- Partner with digital team on automation solutions to manage indirect procurement
- Analyze suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices & lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, & ability to meet required schedules
- Responsible for overall relationship & escalations for key vendor accounts
- Lead sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature
- Ensure suppliers or vendors are performing to the designed requirements from delivery, quality, & cost perspective
Warehousing
- Create 1-, 3- and 5-year strategy for warehousing optimization
- Own the commercial negotiations & open items with 3PL providers
- Oversee the 3PL performance i.e., initial business requirements, competitive sourcing, & implementation
- Work closely with local distribution center leaders as escalation point for support & onsite leadership
- Lead projects to implement new warehouses, increase automation & improve productivity
- Promote the “Carrier Excellence for Warehouses” program, leverage best practices, standard procedures, performance, & innovation across all BU locations & operating regions
- Incorporate emerging technologies & business trends in logistics, transportation, & distribution/warehousing into the strategic plan
- Maintain regular reviews of metrics & trends, improvements, & variances with all stakeholders & maintain quarterly Distribution Centre (DC) reviews
- Manage logistics costs within budget & achieve year over year improvement
Transportation
- Support logistics transportation procurement for all modes
- Create & maintain preferred vendor routing guides
- Work with factories & broader business logistics teams to ensure process, lane & vendor compliance
- Leverage data analytics & business intelligence to monitor operational performance & identify optimization opportunities
- Ensure air freight compliance to the approved workflow process
- Share best practices across sites & businesses to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years indirect or direct procurement experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree with 5+years global supply chain management experience
- Lead a cross-functional global team to achieve results through leadership & influence
- Business judgment to drive strategy and results
- Excel in a dynamic environment
- Lead analysis and resolution of complex problems and evaluate tangible & intangible variables

Pay Range:
$136,950 - $191,938 Annually
