Job Description

The Senior Human Resources Manager at our Lima plant will strategically align HR efforts to specific business needs, including organization assessment and design, team effectiveness, people issues, and trends that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the business. They will be the driving force building culture that cultivates trust, employee engagement, innovation, leadership effectiveness, and workforce productivity.

They will coach and develop leaders to deliver people management capabilities, provides organizational insights to make the highest quality decisions, and mitigates operational risk and increase business and HR process/ ER compliance. They will partners with practices and HR shared services to implement effective, business-oriented solutions that meet specific business and Line Leader challenges.

This role is also responsible for stewardship and accountability as it related to upholding the companies' purpose, values, and principles and all other HR related items.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coaches and develops leaders to deliver people management capabilities, provides organizational insights to make the highest quality decisions, and mitigates operational risk and increase business and HR process/ER compliance.

  • Partners with practices and HR shared services to implement effective, business-oriented solutions that meet specific business challenges.

Job Qualifications

Required

  • BA/BS Degree with concentration in HR, Business, or relevant field

  • The ability to manage in a faced paced environment balancing varying business decisions and priority levels.

  • Collaboration and communication skills – ability to influence up, down, across, and external to organization to achieve business need

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Outstanding listening skills with a view to understanding and anticipating the needs.

  • Ability to embrace change – ability to be agile and flexible in a complex, fast pace work environment, and high capacity to manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience managing others and supporting direct reports

  • Willingness to learn, get involved, and solve problems, and attention to detail and organization skills

Preferred

  • Masters Degree or MBA

  • Have a major or concentration in any of these areas-Human Resources, Business, Industrial Labor Relations, Organizational Development or relevant majors

  • Willingness to wear multiple hats outside of core HR work
