We are currently seeking a Human Resource Coordinator/Staff Recruiter to join our team and support our growing organization. The Human Resource Assistant reports directly to the Human Resources Manager

Preferred Experience:

Work Experience:

Three years of work experience in Recruiting/Staffing, and Human Resources is required. Only candidates with the required experience or a strong equivalent combination of education (i.e. Human Resources, Certifications in HR or Recruiting) and/or experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to be able to perform the role will be considered.

Professional Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; Superior organizational skills and attention to detail; Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures; Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines; Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to problem solve and think independently; Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment; Ability to handle confidential data with a high level of professionalism; and strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are a must for consideration.

Job Duties:

  • This individual will be responsible for staff recruiting, data entry relative to Human Resources and Recruiting, and auditing sensitive information related to the Human Resources side of our business.
  • Responsibilities will also include working with new hires in the pre-boarding and onboarding process.
  • The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining various employee database and employment records
  • Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves
  • Assist HR Manager in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration
  • Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews
  • Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
  • Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
  • Interviewing potential applicants regarding their skills, experience, and education
  • Contacting references and performing background checks on applicants
  • Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits, and duties
  • Referring qualified applicants for the employer
  • Conducting or helping with new employee orientation when needed
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate supervisor contact
  • Supports Engagement Committee initiatives
