JVL Laboratories is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented quality control technician. The QC Technician will be responsible for sampling and testing in-process products and ensuring product quality throughout the filling process.

Responsibilities

· Perform line start up procedure to ensure the line is ready to run.

· Clearly document required tasks.

· Confirm line is clear of previous components and materials, verify all components and materials for current run are correct.

· Ensure the coder displays and prints the code matching the paperwork.

· Create and print labels for shippers and inner labels.

· Perform in-line monitoring such as leak testing, weight checks, torque checks and bursting checks.

· Conduct interdepartmental communication and collaborations to ensure the quality of the product.

· Open NCR investigations if appropriate and put materials and product under a quality hold.

· Preform re-work if necessary.

Requirements

· Understanding of cGMP requirements applicable to Quality

· Ability to work independently, detail orientated.

· Capable of maintaining clear and concise records

· Ability to manage difficult situations and communicate clearly.

· Organize and maintain retain samples.

· Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
