The Opportunity:

We buy chemicals in bulk and put them into smaller containers for our customers. This is a closely knit team who really enjoy working with each other. Although the work is fast-paced, safety and accuracy come before speed.

In this role, the QA Inspector will work closely with the entire production and shipping team ensuring labels are accurate and that we are working together to continuously improve the quality of our deliverables.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform document review and approval of completed quality and production documents
  • Conduct routine audits/reviews/inspection
  • Assist in the preparation and hosting of audits including customer, ISO, and internal
  • Proactively communicate with the QA/QC Manager and Operations Manager regarding any quality issues
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications & Expertise:

  • Knowledge and prior experience in an ISO 9001 or similar environment
  • Knowledge of quality systems
  • Attention to details is a must
  • Food/Beverage, Chemical, or other regulated environment experience is a plus!
  • Proficient with Google Suite and strong technical aptitude
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Physical Demands

  • Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
  • Continuous sitting, standing, walking, using stairs, hearing, talking, bending, crouching, and working closely with others.

Schedule & reporting details:

Full-time 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.

8-5 M-F
