OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

The Project Engineer is responsible for providing proper technical knowledge and tools support to ensure that customers needs are met in regard to order accuracy, timeliness and quality. This includes front end business system development, drawing and component accuracy, liaison with manufacturing and compliance to national and local codes in a manner that is consistent with the Fulton values and operating philosophy.


ACCOUNTABILITIES
:

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve tools used to select, configure, order, and verify customer orders for standard and custom (featured & optioned) equipment.
  • Reviews and approves purchase orders, specifications, acknowledgement, and drawings for the customer and production as required by the production timeline. Ensures that all drawings conform to best engineering practices and any applicable national or local code requirements. Identify and specify any special order parts that need to be purchased to fulfill the requirements of the order
  • Serve as Engineering Champion for business system. Participate in any system upgrades or expansions as the engineering expert.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing and sales drawings to support Features & Options boiler equipment. Including variants, options, and kits to allow intelligent configuring of equipment to a multitude of custom applications and code requirements.
  • Develop and maintain in compliance ASME drawings, calculations, conformity log, and other quality documents for all ASME work performed by FSS.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience):

  • Technical Engineering Degree Required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Repetitive Motion – Substantial movement/motion of the wrists, hands, or fingers.
  • Sitting – The body is supported by buttocks and back and employees needs to remain seated for extended periods of time.
  • Walking – Moving about on foot to travel and accomplish tasks, including long distances.
  • Vision – Visual acuity is required to view a computer terminal and to analyze data.
