Position: Mechanical Inspector

Location: Nicktown, PA

Duration: 8-12 weeks

Frequency: On-demand / 30-40 hrs

Job Description:

• Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at the supplier’s facility to verify compliance with drawings, standards/specifications, and other PO requirements
• Verify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damage

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of precision mechanical inspection experience is required
• Strong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5 GD&T
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a must
• Experience working with tight tolerances
• Hands-on mechanical inspection experience
• Must have experience working with Mil-standards
• Previous source inspection experience
