Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with up to 5 years of experience to join our team. We will also consider a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate who has the drive and ability to learn quickly. The ideal candidate will be able to design, develop, and analyze new, or improve existing components or systems related to a new air boosting product for large fuel agnostic internal combustion engines that significantly improves efficiency, responsiveness, and emissions. This is an opportunity to work for a small team based “start-up” company developing an exciting new product.

Essential Duties and Possible Projects

• Design and develop new or improvements to existing machined components or systems from initial design through assembly and testing of the product.
• Use CREO to create 3D models and drawings or ability to learn.
• Analyze components using FEA, CFD, and Thermal Analysis.
• Collaborate with other engineers on other projects and designs.
• Work with and support suppliers and customers.

Requirements

• BSME with 0-5 years of experience in mechanical design of machined components.
• Assist and support various projects with other Engineers as needed.
• Experience with internal combustion engines, turbochargers, and/or transmissions a plus.
• Experience with actuators a plus.
• Occasional travel within US and possibly Internationally to support customer testing projects.
• Support test cells occasionally or as needed.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
