Description:

Lockheed Martin MFC in is seeking a full-time Early Career Mechanical Design Engineer. In this role, you will support research and development of Mechanical parts and large/complex assemblies, work under general direction, and support development of approaches and solutions. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of technical principles, theories and concepts in Mechanical Engineering, and general knowledge of other related disciplines. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Provides technical support to a wide range of difficult problems.

Must be a US Citizen ; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that
requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:


Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

Must have ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance

Must be a US Citizen

Desired Skills:


Must have the ability to travel

Interest in applying the principles of Mechanical Engineering to the design and development of complex assemblies.

Competency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with PTC/CREO and/or CATIA design software is a plus.

Security Clearance Statement:

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
