Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Schedule: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

Job Description:

Daily testing of samples received from production. Timely completion of the test to meet the established testing time. Following GMP documentation guidelines. Basic problem-solving skills and demonstrated troubleshooting ability. Contribute to the team's productivity goals. The colleague should have the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Position requirements:

o Testing of samples from manufacturing to ensure Quality and compliance according to all applicable assays utilizing good aseptic practices.

o Maintaining testing schedules and reagent supply

o Completion of documentation following cGMP guidelines

o Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, instrumentation, and facility

o Understanding of the QC software packages used during routine work

o Understanding of how to use pipettes

o Preparation of media and reagents

o Understanding of dilution schemes

o Ability to lift approximately 20 pounds

o BA/BS in Science related field or AA plus one year experience preferred (but open to a High School Diploma along with experience with gathering data and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
• GMP: 1 year (Preferred)
