Responsible for all phases of human resources to include orientation, employee relations, employee data maintenance, benefits, termination procedures, personnel policies and procedures, and payroll.
Conducts orientation for new employees.
Oversees the completion of all documents for hiring and termination and facilitates employee enrollment/discontinuation of benefits.
Maintains personnel files, insuring appropriate documentation of evaluations, compensation and benefits, and disciplinary actions.
Resolves employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
Revises employee personnel policies and procedures, communicating changes as needed.
Works with supervisors and employees to revise existing job descriptions or develop new ones.
Works cooperatively with Directors and education personnel to develop training curriculum and continuing educational resources.
Manages payroll and benefits, including the tracking of leave accrual.
Frequently in contact with agency managers/supervisors and employee to provide guidance, information, and to facilitate resolution of issues when necessary. Contacts will also include benefits providers, federal, state and local law regulators applicable to work.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
Experience and Skills: 2-4 years’ previous experience in a Human Resources related role
