We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department in various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about human resources and wants to gain valuable experience in the field.

This position will be primarily based at the Beaverton Toyota location and will provide HR services to six locations.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations

- Support workforce management activities, such as maintaining employee records and updating HR databases

- Assist with change management initiatives, including communication and implementation of HR policies and procedures

- Conduct initial screenings and assist with the interview process for potential candidates

- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, maintaining files, and other projects as assigned by HR Director

- Assist with employee relations matters, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues

- Utilize HRIS systems such as Ceridian Dayforce and Employee Navigator to input and maintain employee data accurately

- Occasional in state travel may be required

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred

- Previous experience in an administrative role or internship within a human resources department is a plus

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Knowledge of HRIS systems such as Ceridian Dayforce and Employee Navigator is a plus

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism

- Maintain valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
