Responsibilities:
Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an entry-level mechanical engineer.
Responsibilities include designing building mechanical systems (HVAC) under the guidance of experienced mechanical engineers; preparing plans and specifications for bidding and construction; developing 3D models of the building systems using Revit; assisting with load calculations, system sizing, mechanical equipment selection; and attending client meetings. Travel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position.
Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.


The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

  • Working in an engineering, architecture, or construction firm.
  • Coursework in REVIT.
  • Coursework in building mechanical systems such as HVAC.
  • International Mechanical Code requirements, ASHRAE standards, and building construction materials.

The ideal candidate will also obtain an EIT within six months of hire.

Salary will be at least $62,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
