Core Responsibilities:

  • Repairs, services and troubleshoots aircraft to ensure safe operating conditions.
  • Stays informed with the national civil aviation authority on maintenance topics.
  • Liaise with all non-company persons or Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs) performing maintenance on aircraft, as delegated.
  • Assists with the establishment and maintenance of aircraft records as required by State regulations, manufacturers’ and company policy.
  • Keeps Maintenance leadership apprised of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins that affect aircraft.
  • Removes from service any aircraft that is unsafe, or that does not comply with national regulatory requirements.
  • Assists in the establishment of Flight Department safety policies and procedures for ground operation.
  • May perform quality control inspection for work done by other technicians.
  • Works hand-in-hand with both Personal & Corporate Security to ensure the highest level of protection for our passengers, baggage, aircraft, passenger automobiles, and facility.

Position Requirements:

· Associate's degree; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • 5-8 years total experience as an Aviation Maintenance Technician. Experience with Gulfstream G650, strongly preferred.
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
  • Formal aircraft, engine, & avionics training (aircraft type specific.)
  • Experience inspecting/maintaining aircraft suitable for worldwide operations. Has thorough knowledge of maintenance procedures and ensures all work meets FAA specifications.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • General and Aviation-Specific Security Training, preferred
  • Ability to occasionally travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to occasionally work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to satisfy a comprehensive background check and related requirements

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force

· Frequent sitting, standing, walking, pushing and pulling

· Occasionally required to climb on a ladder

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting range for this position is $69.44 – 73.73 per hour. Starting pay offers will vary depending on several factors, including relevant experience, knowledge and skills, education and other qualifications. The full pay range for this position is $57.27- $85.90 hourly which reflects our above market pay philosophy as well as the room for growth opportunity within the role. This position also has an opportunity to participate in the company’s peer-to-peer recognition program.
