JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Airline A & P Mechanic Department: Airline Maintenance

Reports to: Airline Manager

General Summary

Perform aircraft maintenance on Embraer 170/175 Aircraft Series for Envoy Air

Essential Functions:

  • Taxi/ Run Aircraft Return aircraft to service
  • Tire/Brake service and changes Interpreting work cards and engineering orders
  • Changing aircraft engine components Maintain accuracy of parts paperwork
  • Electrical troubleshooting Maintain currency in maintenance training
  • Monthly maintenance checks Maintain currency in Repair Station Procedures
  • Weekly maintenance checks Complete logbook entries
  • Phase inspections

Job Specifications:

A & P mechanic license required.

Knowledge of aircraft parts, terminology and abbreviations.

Attention to detail Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Excellent communications skills. Valid driver’s license.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Ability to travel as needed. Must be able to understand, read and write in English.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

Must attend 2 weeks of paid Envoy training

Must have valid driver's license

Must be able to pass a security background check

Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays

Miscellaneous:

Shop open 365 days per year for overnight maintenance. Pay is commensurate with experience. All experience levels are encouraged to apply. Work is in the hangar and on the ramp. Some travel involved.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.15 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
