Employment Information
  • Be a United States Citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Pass background check and FAA Drug & Alcohol testing.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Have no previous felony convictions.
  • Ability to work reliably and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for completing time-sensitive aircraft repairs in the field.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Must be able to exercise good judgment in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety.
  • Communicate with your team and Maintenance Control on a case by case basis when the need arises to work unscheduled items.
  • Communicate all Return to Service adjustments to your team and to the customers maintenance control.
  • Reports directly to the Base Manager for Aircraft Maintenance tasks.
  • Maintenance shop cleanup, organization, and basic office duties.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform maintenance IAW with FAA approved technical data.
  • Accurately complete all appropriate maintenance, work order, and RTS paperwork.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required
- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined spaces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $112,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Aircraft maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Airframe & Powerplant License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Teterboro, NJ 07608: Relocate before starting work (Required)
