Hello,

This role involves assembling, installing, sealing, rigging, inspecting, and completing precision and structural components for aircraft, according to established processes and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for functional testing, fitting, and ensuring the form and function of assemblies and components.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Drilling out rivets
  • Shooting rivets in skin panels
  • Squeezing rivets common to interior structure
  • Removing Hi locs
  • Installing Hi locs
  • Performing cut and splices
  • Pulling holes
  • Oversizing holes
  • Laying out holes by hand
  • Reading and interpreting drawings (blueprints)
  • Installing freeze plugs
  • Installing bushings

Requirements:

  • Contractor must be eligible for rehire with Boeing since the work location is in Renton.
  • Candidates residing 100 miles outside of Renton are also eligible for a weekly per diem of $110.
  • Workers must be able to work any shift needed.
  • 10+ years of experience (A&P license not required).
  • Contractors will work in the 737 fuselage area, requiring strong sheet metal experience.
  • Blueprint reading is required.

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • 8 hour shift
  • Rotating shift
